Home Studio Corner Production Club Open Again

Regular readers will know that I rate Joe Gilder’s Home Studio Corner website very highly – if you want straightforward, no-nonsense information about getting the most out of your home studio, Joe is your man.
Last year Joe launched the Home Studio Corner ‘Production Club’ – and this week he’s opening it up again. (Please mention my name or Production Advice if you decide to join – Joe is a diamond geezer and will send a contribution towards my home studio to say thanks : )
Joe explains the Production Club really well on the page I linked to above, but to explain briefly, it’s a 12-week course aimed at home studio owners – every week there are extensive HD video tutorials and articles by Joe, covering all aspects of the recording process, from pre-production through recording and MIDI right through to mixing and mastering. (You might even run into a familiar face when you get to that stage :-p )
There’s also a members-only forum where you can ask Joe questions and discuss the week’s topics with other members of the club, and Joe does live “Webinars” every week to support the videos and articles.
Joe really knows his stuff and has a true talent for explaining and demonstrating ideas and techniques clearly – and from what I’ve seen the Production Club is no exception.
And it’s incredibly good value ! When you’ve read everything that’s included I’m pretty sure you’ll be amazed at how affordable it is. I recommend that anyone who enjoys my posts here should head over and check it out. (And, remember to tell him I sent you : )

I agree fully with you and more. I have seen 100’s of tutorial sights and not a one can come close to JOE’S, [ PROD.CLUB ], in that regard. Being of his first alumni I have gathered a wealth of knowledge from his teaching abilities. He has a certain flare, about him that captivates the student into a wanting to learn mode. He is Honest and Steadfast with all he + whom he deal’s with and will go the Xtra mile or 2.There is another great asset about JOE that many are probably unaware of. Besides being a great teacher and engineer, he also is a great Musician/Singer. The former in a class of it’s own, as his voice can bring you shivers and swirl your emotions. With this said I fear he may not shoot for the stars, so to say, as I feel his greatest PASSION is producing and passing it on to others, which is fine but may eventually lead him into being pulled by both sides of the art. However in his un-selfishness the world will benefit from JOE either way and it’s for him to decide.I wish him all the best.
